The Island House 2.0

The Green House

The Green House P.S. Not Our BMW

So we moved back to Hawaii.
We’ll add that to the big long list of reasons we feel blessed.
We actually moved back to the same Army housing we lived in before.
Because it’s awesome.
So we’ve dubbed this house The Island House 2.0

Not a ton to say on it at this point.
We’ve lived here for less than 3 months.
Being a sub-par Army wife with serious interior design opinions, it’s going to take me a year to fully decorate this space.
But because I love a good before, I had my friend Annie come and take some shots of the house about 2 seconds after we moved in.

The living room as seen from the front door.
It’s actually a fairly small space.
Through that pass through is the formal dining room which we use as our school room.

As you pass through the living room there is a powder room under the stairs, the school room on the right, and then you come through to a great room.

So there it is, in all it’s Army issued glory, all white and blank and generic, ready for me to nest!
As I finish spaces I hope to share them here.
There have been a couple of Make it Work! moments that were fun to navigate.
I’ll be back this week with some sewn goodies.

Cheers!
