Well puke-ocalypse has made it’s rounds.
My Soldier is sick.
{this is me sad}
The Soldier is one of those people who never seems to get sick.
And when he does get sick he’s too much of a manly type man to just give in and admit defeat.
He’s been like this since I’ve known him. And he’s really only been sick 4 times since we met 7 years ago!!
{i’m pretty sure the pharmaceutical industry should bottle his immune system}
Case in point: this particular brand of puke-ocalypse had Mary Poppins, My Helper, The Cadet and myself bowing down and praying for God’s mercy around the porcelain throne.
My Soldier? Not-so much.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s as sick as he gets, but his super hooah immune system just doesn’t get as sick as the rest of the world seems to.
So he came home early today due to illness, which is a 1st!
He crashed on the couch and then proceeded to convince me that he needs nothing, wants nothing, cares for nothing….
…and then proceeded to kick the kiddos and me out.
The Fashionista (also a bridesmaid) and her husband The Kiwi {because he’s from new zealand} arrived Monday and puke-ocalypse had prevented us from hanging out.
Today we had plans till The Soldier arrived with what we hope is the puke-ocalypse season finale, then he ushered us out of the house and into their sweet company.
So being a Wednesday we felt it proper to wander so we wandered here…
Possibly not as exciting as wandering through the interwebs {because it’s that much harder to share the love}
but we definitely enjoyed it!
